Week 9 - Paper Piecing

Our challenge this week is Paper Piecing - for those of you that are not sure what paper piecing is it's really easy. Take a look here and also this video on YouTube.The prize this week is a double one! Not only will the winner receive this fabulous prize of a Frances Meyer Scrapbook kit, Basic Grey rub-on roller and a tub of Twinklets Diamond Dust from The Hobby House, but will also be our Guest Designer for July.

This is the first time i have ever done Paper Piecing & it was great fun,i will certainly be doing it again ........lol.

I mounted the Tilda to give the card some deminsion

I added the bow & charm because i wasn't using a stamped greeting

Something Old, Something New~CHALLENGE

This is our first challenge with some of our old team and some of our new team. So we thought a fitting challenge would be Something Old, Something New....a wedding theme! Anything wedding goes here, a wedding card, gift, tag, page, favor...you get the idea!

Loved this challenge,wanted to keep it as simple as i possibly could......

The gold beads & pearl are from ebay....lol.

I used the Oval Scalloped Nesties....

The butterfly is from Cuttlebug

Crystal Stickles ..........

The pearls on the bouquet are from the $ store

I also used an Ivory Pro marker to add some colour to the bouquet & head-dress

Okay on to this weeks Challenge!!! We are asking you to use charms on your card. Easy challenge isn't it?? So lets see lots of entry's on this one. We have an extra special surprise for some one this week. The lovely Katharina has offered to give one lucky person a gorgeous Whiff Of Joy Stamp!!! How cool is that??? One lucky person is going to get this adorable Mouse under hat, I think he is just so cute don't you??

Right onto this week's challenge. We want you make a project with the following promarker colours:Apple & Pastel Pink
Don't forget that from this week on you are allowed to combine our challenge with any other challenges you wish to participate in. You are allowed to use other similar colours for shading and skin/hair colours but the predominant colours must be the challenge colours.

I used my new OJ stamp for this challenge........the strawberry is also a new WOJ.

Used this charm to just add a little umph..............lol

Welcome to Challenge #26Well it has been another week already!! Time sure fly's bye doesn't it.We want to thank ALL of you for your support in all the entry's. Wow folks you are just awesome. We so love seeing your gorgeous art.The challenge for this week we have a theme for you Black and White and a splash of one color accent Now remember there is only 1 rule you must use a Whiff of Joy stamp

I used my Confirmand Melinda ( Love love love this stamp ).

I used Liquid pearls for the flourishes ( my splash of colour)

I used Icegrey 4 Le Traset Pro marker for the stamped background,Ice grey 4 Le Traset Pro marker for the grey backgrounds,i used Ice grey 3 Le Traset Pro markerso for the lines on the dress & wings .
